  • Unsalted butter 1/2 cup
  • Eggs 2 large
  • Granulated sugar 2/3 cup

  • All-purpose flour 1 1/2
  • Semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup

Directions for Making Banana Bread

Step 1 Beat Sugar & Butter

Firstly, in a mixing bowl add softened butter and granulated sugar. Then beat them together for a minute at high speed. You can use a hand whisk or an electric better for this purpose.

Step 2 Add Mashed Bananas

Secondly, in another bowl mash three large ripen bananas using a fork or a potato masher. Then add mashed bananas into the butter and sugar mixture.

Step 3 Pour & Whisk Eggs 

Now crack two large eggs and pour them into the mixing bowl. Then whisk them on high speed for 2 minutes or until thoroughly combined.

Step 4 Add Dry Ingredients

Once the wet batter for banana bread is ready, add dry ingredients into the batter. Firstly, add flour, then add baking soda, and salt. Whisk them together until it gets mushy.

Step 5   Pour Vanilla Extract & Chocolate Chips

Finally, pour vanilla extract and chocolate chips into the bowl. Then mix them until well incorporated into the batter.

Step 6 Pour Batter into A Baking Loaf

Once the banana bread batter is ready, pour it into a greased loaf pan. You can grease the pan with butter or you can place parchment paper inside the pan. It will prevent the bread from sticking to the bottom. You can also garnish the batter with chocolate chips.

Step 7 Bake Banana Bread

Then put the loaf pan in a 350˚F preheated oven. Bake it for 55- 60 minutes. After 60 minutes check it by inserting a toothpick into the center of the bread. If it comes out clean then take it out. But if it comes out with wet batter then again bake it for 10 more minutes.

Step 8 Slice & Serve Banana Bread

After baking banana bread, take it out from the pan and put it over a wire rack to let it cool down. Then cut it into slices and serve along with coffee.
